Our Beginning
JHPatton Woodworks otherwise known as JHPatton Cabinets originated from a young man that had an interest in woodworking and how things came together. This grew in to a lifelong passion, encouraged by his family, our founder built his first workshop, honing skills with hand tools and wood, crafting everything from simple shelves to entire kitchens. Now in present day, He is older is continuing the tradition of teaching those valuable skills to his daughter, passing on the craft with pride.
Allow me to introduce myself—I've grown up learning and watching my dad create and build incredible things for years. While my brothers briefly learned the craft, it was something they weren't able to fully grasp. For me, however, woodworking has become a lifelong adventure of learning and creating. We have been a word-of-mouth business since the business started and have been successful doing that but it reached a point we needed to reach a wider range of people. This online shop was created to allow us to have a place to sell our work—showcasing our craftsmanship for others to enjoy. Est. 1979
